The Columbia Gorge Economic Development Association is a cooperative regional organization which promotes the Columbia River Gorge region as a cost-effective location for business development. The Columbia Gorge EDA's overall goals are to add family-wage jobs to the region, thus creating a healthy economy and an improved quality of life for residents.

The Columbia Gorge EDA:

• Coordinates resources facilitate the establishment of new businesses.
• Encourages growth and expansion of existing businesses.
• Recruits established businesses for relocation in the region.
