Klickitat Valley Hospital

Klickitat Valley Hospital (KVH) is operated by Klickitat County Public Hospital District #1. It is owned by the citizens of the District, and is a non-profit health care provider. The hospital has been in continuous operation since 1949, with upgrades and renovations several times over the years resulting in a well maintained and attractive facility.

Hood River Memorial Hospital

Hood River Memorial Hospital is a community-supported, private, non-profit, acute care facility serving the people in and surrounding Hood River County. We have an almost even mix of inpatients and outpatients who use a wide variety of health services provided by nearly 50 physicians and over 200 employees. In addition to traditional patient uses, HRMH provides family birth center, in-hospital respite care, intensive and coronary care unit, same day surgeries, diagnostic nuclear medicine, CT scanning, ultrasound, dedicated mammography, 24-hour physician-staffed emergency department (state certified trauma facility), cardiac rehabilitation, home health services, business health and wellness services, Alzheimer's respite activities, chemical dependency outpatient treatment, a community education center (EdNet I and II site) and resource library and visiting physician clinics. Hood River Memorial is a JCAHO accredited hospital.

Skyline Hospital

Klickitat County Public Hospital District No. 2, also known as, Skyline Hospital, owns and operates a 32-bed acute care hospital, and Medicare certified rural health clinic. Located in White Salmon, Washington, in the heart of the Columbia River Gorge, Skyline Hospital serves residents of Skamania County and western Klickitat Counties.  Designated as a Critical Access hospital which allows operation of a maximum of 25 beds.  Skyline carries a Trauma Level IV designation. Services include; acute care, surgery, cardio-pulmonary, radiology, obstetrics, physician clinic, emergency services, laboratory, pharmacy, physical therapy and ambulance services.

Mid-Columbia Medical Center

Mid-Columbia Medical Center is the largest hospital in the Columbia Gorge and a nationally-recognized leader in health care. MCMC is located in The Dalles, Oregon, 80 miles east of Portland. The facility has a full range of acute medical services, including state of the art imaging and diagnostic capabilities.

MCMC is the first hospital in the nation to adopt the patient-centered concepts of "Planetree" throughout its system. As such, MCMC was featured in the National Public Broadcasting series "Healing and the Mind," with Bill Moyers, in 1993. MCMC continues to host delegations from other hospitals across the United States and throughout the world. These visitors learn how the Planetree standards of patient empowerment, homelike physical surroundings, access to information, family involvement, and other aspects of patient-centered care help promote health and healing.
